The Boss Lady

I live in the district of Pasang in the city of Lamphun in the country of Thailand. I work with a seventy-seven year old British lady named Venetia Walkey who is a sculptor and peace builder at Dhamma Park.
One of the big projects at Dhamma Park that I assist with for my internship is the Dhamma Bike Project. The bike combines the Wheel of Right Conduct on the front tire and the back tire has the U.N. Peace Wheel. This methodology is Venetia's way of trying to reincorporate ethics back into society starting with the children.
Here we are having a DBP committee meeting in the Pavillion at the Park. This Friday we will have a tour and presentation in Chiang Mai at Tao Gardens where seven bike clubs have been recruited to help forward the efforts of ethics. :)

Included are pictures of Venetia's sculptures and art work which are on exhibit throughout the Park in different galleries.

Her partner--famous Thai artist, [Khun] Inson Wongsam has an interesting life story. He is very talented in numerous artistic capacities but especially in woodcuts. All of the big statue majigs on the grounds were inventions he created while in America seeking inspiration for his art. He was devastated by the pollution and destruction the industrial boom was causing. These contraptions were designed for the purpose of cleaning up the environment.
