On intern excursions, Alex rents the roat dang of one of the Church members. He drives us around throughout the day to wherever we are going. Quite convenient.Sunday night as we were riding home it was raining. All day long the students begged for the opportunity to ride on the back of the roat dang. [There is a stand with two ladders on the back. So you can hang off the back in the middle of traffic.]
In the rain, however, no one wanted to ride outside of the roat dang. haha. Now was my chance to live life on the edge--LITERALLY! :)

So I was reading your post, and at the first picture I was all, oh cool, this is Sondra on a bus...and then I read further and I realized that it was you hanging on the end of a bus! Woah! Just a tad bit different than in Russia. :)

Haha. Yeah...could you imagine hangin' off the back of a bus in Russia? Someone would definitely die. The traffic here is a lot more passive aggressive than the active aggressive traffic in Russia. No one minds getting cut off if the jerk will smile and wave. :) haha.
